i dont wanna be a ranger. i just want the tab so i can get more schools.



and no we dont have the new helmet. my unit is so poor we still got the old uniforms. but somehow they can afford to send us to austrailia next week? we are only a task force but we are standing up a brigade at the moment so we should be getting alot more funding

I'm part of a Scout/Sniper outfit with 75th Ranger Regiment. Kinda like SF, just a different mission.



When are you planning on going to Selection Bigtime? I'm definately debating going when I get back from Iraqistan. Its a tough decision though, Ft. Living Room or SF



Did you see the re-up bonus for SF warrant officers........$150,000

im pre ranger in september then ranger school then sniper school then selection

 

Your unit is making you go to pre-ranger? I thought they only made us batt. boys do that.

im support, but i do way more humping then the regular joe in my company. my brigade now has an artillery battallion in it, my battallion has a ******* maintance company part of it. mortars are ******* sweet, how can you call those guys support, we have 60s in my company, and they can direct lay damn close, close enough to where the mortar tube will be next to a guy firing a rifle, sure they arent going to clear buildings with a 60 but they also carry their m4. and artillery is the king of battle. those guys can wear some **** out. theres a pre ranger course on my post also.
