The Rotaries DOMINATED the racing circuits in the early days when the R100,RX2,RX3's ruled the track. They changed the racing rules to make them race against cars at twice their engine volume (2600cc).

If you think this is UNFAIR they did simular things to the AUDI QUATTRO, EAGLE TALON.

I'd assume this show is looking for a N/A Piston engine, Which the Honda is the GOD.

Piston motors have made such advancements in technology while the Rotary has stood still. 7,000 RPM Redline in 1970 was a big deal. A 8,000 redline is not such a big deal in 2002. Why haven't technologies allowed us to approach 12,000 RPM redlines from out BUZ BOMBS.

they can turn 10k and above seen carb.12a go to 14k. continous running at that rpm wont work but like a drag race fine. his 12a been together for 3 months now-i did`nt think it w stay running. hell i seen him hold wide open for 10 seconds, sitting still. road race ones run 18k or higher but that costs$

Actually, i dont think a turbo counts if your going by HP per Liter. Another thing, maybe they just meant cars that were still being sold in the US.

The 89 - 90 NA RX7 only has about 3 horses on the S2000.
Actually the 1.3 liters of the RX-8 will out do the S2000. I guess they won't consider the RX-8 since it hasn't been released yet.

That show is for the kids with civics and accords that think APC parts from Pep Boys will make their cars fast.
