No tree this year for me, afraid the pup will attack it when no one is home

I had 3700 lights on my 6.5' tree last year though, lol.

I can't have a real tree in my apartment...it would void my lease. Well, I wanted to move out anyway.

He emailed me last week about transferring me some money for the current rent and I haven't seen a cent or heard from him since.
