Definitely a pessimist, he's expecting biblical rains LOL You should be pissed that he didn't warn you as he may know something we don't

Oh and I have three categories, Optimist, Pessimist and Realist. I consider myself to be the latter.

optimist things only good is ahead, pessimist thinks only bad is ahead, both can be wrong, the realist knows what's ahead good or bad
