I was under the impression you could mount them in any position, laying down, upside down, etc.



True?

i dont see why not since it's pretty much a dry cell.......i've seen a custom truck magazine where they were mounting it under the body with the top terminals facing the front of the truck so the side posts were facing the ground

yeah, even on optima's site they say you can mount in absolutely any position.

every direction but posts down, for some reason they really dont last long that way. I sell em all the time and the ones that mount upside down come back for more warrenties.
