Yea, I have the video from Atkins about overhauling the 13B which is narrated by Bruce Terrentine. It is a cool video and very helpful. For 30$ its a drop in the bucket compared to what you spend on the rebuild. This was the 1st time I had rebuilt an engine and the video was a very helpful tool. I don't know if you really need a video on pulling the engine, its pretty straight forward. Plus the Bruce Terrentine video starts with the full engine on the stand, and then goes through tearing it down.

Yeah, Mazda Canada also doesn't have to pay the tarriffs that Mazda America has to pay thanks to domestic car manufacturers lobbying US gov't to "level the playing field" in the late 80's...

What exactly is this $500 rebuild you speak of?[/quote]

Plugs, plug wires, air filter, oil filter and oil. The rest is all profit.

He was using that to illustrate the "get what you pay for". A $500 rebuild, even in a Chevy 350, is suspect.
No, he really thinks he can do a rebuild for $500.

Is that the kind of motor that he uses liquid plumber in? I think he has the tidy bowl man's endorsement.
