Go for the p-port... I have been driving my p-port Fc on the street for a little over a month or so.. Its kick *** and when set up right, its very driveable.. I find it to be a lot more controllable dow win low than even a half bridge, it will also idle lower than a half bridge. When its cold, it ticks over at about 700 rpm and comes to about a 1200-1300 idle.. I am using 1600 cc injectors and even so, its pretty docile down low..
It will make bottom end and midrange that will shock you silly and pull till the cows come home..
After building it and driving it, I can honestly say about 99% of the stuff other people say and read on the internet about them is 99% bs... The only 1% fact is they are loud and they need to breath...
A stripped fb and a p-port would be the cats ***.. The fc i did was a gx, or an se if you are south, its one of the lighter fc's, a base with no sunroof would have been the ultimate, but with no pw, ps, and the lighter carpet etc etc, its a fairly quick..
Going from big turbo to pport na makes you change your driving habits quite a bit, you see 9500 rpm go by and you just stick in it and it keeps accelarating.

ive never driven a PP only a bridge, but i have seen em run the factory 79 imsa car a few times, and it just starts right up and idles nicely at about 900rpms.
the only drawback i can see is that you can hear it clearly across the paddock during a race, but i plan on using mufflers, not megaphones
