Opinion Is HID kits

I wanna get an HID conversion kit for my SE-R, has anyone done one of the kits yet.I like the cool blue/purple look. Was looking for thr 8000k or 10000k.Anyone here recommend a certain kit or brand? Any input would be cool.

the higher color temp. the less bright the light will be. from what i understand the color temperature scale is pretty standard. so unless you are a ricer... (and you are!!!) the higher the color temp you go, the more money you are throwing away. otherwise just make sure you get the right bulbs for your stock housings....

how do HID's make you a ricer? they come factory on alot of new nice cars. if you are purchasing HID's for the function and not the look, that is not rice, that is smart.

He says its ricey because it is. Those ebay kits are about as gay as it gets. All youre doing is buying some craptastic bright blue bulb thats going to annoy everyone else on the street. Real HIDs arent had for 70 dollars off ebay... And the ones you see on the newer nicer cars are not the same ones youre going to buy off ebay.

HAH, i was just giving him **** because i do it in real life about everything. i wasn't trying to flame but it seemed to come off that way i guess... i actually love him... deep down, like have dreams and what not..is that bad? cuz i'm married and have kids!
