I think that the forum should buy it as a group, and the next time somebody bitches about how rare the T2's are and why can't I turbocharge an N/A and wah, wah, wah, we could sell it to them and shut them up!

OK, If im right, NOBODY EVER BID ON THIS CAR! It should be burned and put out of its pain.

It might be the RX-7 a guy I used to know owned. He basically knew nothing about cars and somehow rebuilt his blown engine like this.

everything forward of the rear rotor housing is turbo components, everything back from the center housing is NA!

Obviously this thing ran like ****. Whats funny is the kid insisted it was faster than my TII.

The whole history is, this kid got onto the rotary train after a guy im still friends with (soloIIdrift on this forum) bought a nice black 87 TII a few years ago. Then this kid found himself a black TII that was not even close to as nice. He was desparate to have a fast car that would "get bitches" so he paid $2700 back in 1999 for a body damaged TII with 90k not very clean, and the kid that sold it revved it to redline from a dead cold start when he went to pick it up.

Car has had the fuel injector resistor relay go out, is rusted to ****, has no good parts, and has that bastard engine built by a mechanic that actually thought it was a good idea.

I'm going to go look at this thing just to make sure, but Its looking like it.

Oh, and it was sideswiped parked on a street lightly in the rear.

and one last thing I just remembered

he let his community college roommate borrow the car to drive home to NYC for a weekend. Brought it back, he was driving it one day and the SUBFRAME FELL OFF!!!!

The roommate told him later on, "oh yeah, oops, I hit a big pothole"

and the rear diff mount is snapped.

Cliffs notes - If this is the car I think it is, its the hellspawn of RX-7s.
