Right now the only vision I have in my head is a bunch of Japanese people pointing at a huge 100ft wave and the running away screaming.

Hope everything goes alright for you. Flooding isnt cool. I had to deal with that 2 years ago
when you say that I have visions of the old Godzilla movies in my head

I'm not sure what their bellyaching is all about in Okinawa. According to the experts at The Weather Channel there is a 90% chance of rain and the wind is only 17mph.

i agree with apex13b but if your car does get killed i will shed a tear with you. its like having a death in the family. i will feel the pain cause as far as im concerned any one of you rotary drivers are in my somehow distant third cousin kind of a way related family. so good luck for your car and even better luck to you my friend.

Whooo hooo.. it's moving west a bit more.. this = weaker winds.. It's just starting to get windy now, but the strongest wind are supposed to only be 100mph in about 18 hrs from now, much better than the 150+ they were talking about before..

you should put a webcam up outside with a live feed so we can see what a typhoon is like.

imagine a rain storm, except with A LOT more rain, going sideways, with wind blowing crap everwhere.

I think it's kinda like a hurricane .

nah, I think the name is different for the Atlantic Ocean (hurricane) or Pacific (typhoon)...it's still counter-clockwise here, it flips in the southern hemisphere (clockwise), but the names still apply.......I think
