Okay. So what are you spending for gas per month?

Actually, that would be important if you wanted to know how many "miles per gallon" you were getting. But the question was "How much do you spend each month for gas?" It's a flow rate problem. How fast is big oil draining money out of your wallet?

he has a mile to dollar odometer, so he cant tell you unless its working. **** wouldnt that be a nightmare, watching the dollarss drain out of your wallet on a little ticker

Hey, that's a neat idea. The program could include fuel costs, maintenance, and depreciation. So anyone who checked the meter could see how much money you were dumping into your ride.

I have a feeling the auto manufacturers would resist the idea. Like that's the last thing they want you to think about.

Seriously. It would be a big ol' slap upside the head for a lot of people. Oh, I forgot about insurance. The meter should be programmed to reflect insurance costs also. So we've got fuel, maintenance, depreciation and insurance. Anything else?

In June it was 587.00, last month was 436.00. That's pretty much out of control.
