Normally i dont vent like this.. but damn it, im going to bed right now and im just all sorts of pissed off. At everyone. sooo... check it.



right before christmas i interview for a job. Job starts off at 17/h 40 hours a week, in a office. Well, i figure if i do this, it will look good on my resume for future jobs. So i interview. Looks good. I know im pretty much hired because i have an inside connection. One thing they lack to tell me however, is that they arent looking to hire for roughly 1 1/2-2 month. Soooo... a week goes by and i call. I do the standard checkups and what not. They keep telling me, 1 week! 1 week!. well 1 week has turned into 2 months almost. That wouldnt be too bad, i would just be like 'damn that sucks they should be faster'. No no... it gets worse.. FAR worse.



Well we travel back in time to right before my interview. My old boss calls me and asks me to go oplio (crab) season. I would go in a heart beat, however, im going to be starting this new job soon. So i tell him that, and that i cant go. He sounds disappointed i cant go, but understands. Well...



1 month passes. The season is 8 days long. I watched my boat leave -AND- come back. And I still have no job. The guy that took my spot... guess what. He made 20,000 dollars. They had a pretty decent run this season. So while I *COULD* have been out making 20,000 dollars, instead i was sitting at home, on my ***, waiting for this other ******* job. Oh but wait! It gets worse!



Not ONLY did i miss out on a good season and 20,000 dollars. The discovery channel was making a new documentary on crabbing. Well guess what, they were on MY BOAT! Im part of that ******* crew, and the 1 time i DONT go. The ******* discovery channel comes on and does a documentary of my boat and crew.



So now im out 20,000 dollars and not going to be in a nationally aired discovery special, and i *STILL* dont have a job. I talked to the place im trying to work at today. They said "we will have a decision made next week" ...



Im seriously going ******* nuts. I cant believe i missed that ****.. ALL FOR NOITHNG!! ARRRRRRGGGG!!!



im about to cry.. im going to bed!





edit: ALL THEY WOULD HAVE HAD TO DO WAS ******* TELL ME THE TRUTH AND SAY THEY WERENT LOOKING TO HIRE FOR ANOTHER MONTH OR MORE. AND I WOULDNT HAVE SAT AT HOME WITH MY THUMB UP MY ***!!! ******* **** SUCKING PIECES OF **** BAG ******* MOTHER *******!!!!



lesson learned: dont put all your eggs in one basket.

wow, that does blow. on a side note am i the only one discovery channel isnt doing a documentary about?

20,000...damn thats alot of money man. i cant sleep...nor do i ever sleep.



(ps. discovery channel is doing a documentary on me,frestyle,fike and all the candains in a wild habitat....NYC.)
