that being said if you look closely at this pic(the black one) and and compare it with the blue car along with the marking ive done you, will either agree with me or prove me wrong.

the blue circle is the section of this front end that you can see in the blue car. The yellow is for you to see how I noticed it was the same kit.

now if you look at the pics without the markings in the areas marked(my markings suck), with the yellow circle.

In the black car, you can see, i think, the nipple, or side of the duct sticking out. As it probably would if you looked at the blue one from that angle.

Now, unless there are other fronts with similar ducts, Im gonna take that guys word and say its a kaminari kit. Remember that there are a lot of stuff(cars, parts, etc) that puerto rico and dominican republic gets that never makes it stateside. For instance the 12A turbo.

I hope what ever I just described makes sense. But I can bet you that the next time I go back to PR ima be looking for that kit and a few other things.

exactly what would be the purpose of making a mold if you already have the kit from the other car?, if you bought it that was? I wonder what they charged for the kits when they did have a mold? You could always take the kit off the car, then make it strong again, it wouldnt be that hard to do that, but as far as making a mold goes- if your intentions are to sell them, how many do you honestly think you would sell? Not sure about any kind of patent infringement if you did want to start selling them either?

The time to make the mold would be when the part was new. Any chips or cracks have to be fixed before making a mold so its best to do it to something in great shape to save time. If you buy some expensive parts, and you think some others would pay to have them then maybe its not a bad idea if you kept it quiet. Modifying a glass nose isnt that difficult either.

Whats the mods on this nose you want to make? There isnt any real way to "mess it up", the only thing would be if you THINK something would look good, then it looked like crap, not in its execution, but in its appearance. And again, the hours that go into something like that can add up. My shop gets $105 an hour labor, body shops are cheaper, but 99% of them dont know how to do good glass work.

My advice is to find something you like, and maybe mod it from there. Now you know why they get so much money for these parts, if they sold 50 of a select piece, that would be alot in my estimation. Probably the reason they didnt even bother having new molds made when the other ones got destroyed. Imagine if they werent destroyed, and some douchebag has them in his garage? Find something close, and either live with it, or lets see what we can do from there, is there anything close in production right now that you like?
