So I am driving home today in amy's car and the ******* check engine light comes on. So i throw my code scanner on and it says error, i run by a parts store and borrow their scanner, it says error. SSOOOOO, is there something about the 05 fords that wont scan? my 04 b4000 scans fine. I'm thinking maybe the odb computer took a **** storm? Its still under warranty (barely) but I am curious at this point as I was under the impression that odb II was a standardized language, that was the whole damn point.

I'd really like to get one that reads out the error description rather then just a code. Right now, i get the code then I have to look it up in the ****** book. The new actron which is internet updatable prints out the **** on the screen and will connect to my laptop and what not for $200
