So far it's not been to bad, but then I like RPG's A bit lightweight as far as plot and stuff goes.

The tools are OK. Limited by what I'd want to do but I can work with it plus coding is not an issue for me so....

actually, the plot can be as deep as you want it to be, since it is modular, if you get a good designer (DM) you can have an incredibly in depth game that is never the same twice, the nice thing about the game is, it doesn't have to end, unlike most rpg's it has a very high replay value, because you can always add more stories.

i liked it quite a bit while i played it. My only complaint is that it was too linear and i couldn't go back and complete all the quests if i went to far w/ the main quest

I would have to disagree with bigtime. I believe the game's awesome, although I've been too busy lately to play it. If I had enough spare time I would learn to use the toolset to design my own modules.

I would have to agree with ThirdGenRX7...if you've played Diablo, you've experienced the ability to go between "chapters" or what-not. You can't do this in NWN.

Just my opinion!

Oh...and I paid for it, too

EQ is -=NOT=- and RPG at all. There's so little roleplaying in it it's not even funny. More a stat fest then anything else.

Sure there are some events and what not, but usually they wind up being mob the newbie, crash the zone cause there are too many people or forgotten about.

I was a Senior Guide for a year and a half so I know how it works.

The story isn't too bad so far, not great not lousy just there. However as I can write in what I want the next module I put out will rock story wise. Love to DM

I'm hoping to make things non linear, we shall see...
