so yesterday I took a trip down to charleston and bought a 1985 yamaha virago 1000. It only has 4000 miles on it. Took it for a drive today and it was great. Now I have yet another reason to not spend money on the 7. Discuss.

Sweet! I had an '81 Virago 750, what a hunk of ****! But that was out of neglect from previous owners. Have fun on it!

If it's 'slow' it'll teach you throttle control and give you some confidence with WOT. I'd have a bike but where I'm living I'd have nowhere to put it!!! So I'm thinking my next winter vehicle should be a van so I can store the bike inside it, lol.

if you get someone to drive the van you could just run it out the back
