I am using Novell Client 4.81 for Win2K at work, and my boss wants to know how to turn off the message popup that comes up whenever she prints. Anyone have any ideas?

Printing through the Netware client itself right?

Bring up the properties for the printer and it should be a check box on one of the tabs. Sorry I can't be more specific it's been ages sence I worked with NetWare

That's what I was thinking, but I don't see it on any of the tabs.

Bleh they must have hidden it. Check the NDS object.

Go to the task bar in the lower right hand part of the screen. There is a little red N there. Right click on it and select "Novell Client Properties". One of the tabs is labeled "Default Capture". Click on that tab and in the bottom section under "Other Settings" un-check the Notify box. That should fix the problem.

Sounds like the Power Hungry admins disabled it. Not sure how to re-enable it. The big admins here where I work like to do that to things like IE and Anti-Virus. I hate that ****. I do not think she will be able to do it through the printer properties. Let me ask around and I will see what I can find out.

I am a CNA and don't remember. Of course, that was NetWare 4.1 with the old VLM DOS client.
