Nopistons.net Down?
#11
Images that are posted using the attach method are hosted on nopistons.com, if you aren't seeing those then you have turned off the view images in post feature. If you are referring to people signatures they could be hosted anywhere.

What you see is what you get, nopistons.net and nopistons.com are two totally different sites. Nopistons.net going away will simply mean you won't have a place to host videos or pics, you will have to attach them via posts, or you will need to host them elsewhere.

Fd3BOOST mentioned something about the pictures in the 3rd Gen. Pic Archive post not coming up. Perhaps he had his images hosted on nopistons.net and simply linked them to this forum. Whatever the case may be, it will be nice having pictures hosted for the next 3 months or so. Heh.

well when my website was in it's heyday (from 99-end of 01) i was doing about 80Gb of data transfer per month if not way more (i was backed by a videogame developer/production company named Rockstar, popular for the GTA series, of which my website was popular for). Unfortunately after i severed ties with that game and my active involvement in rockstar they trimmed me down to 350Mb of space but let me keep everything else. Right now it serves onmly as a place to store one of the more popular Carmageddon websites, and the remains of my website.
if you need some vital fiels stored or something i can hel[p you out though, the webservers are on i believe an OC48 backbone.
