Well it looks like the job hunt must begin for me. The economy in Washington state sucks we got hit hard by the dot bomb, my company was effected along with poor management and leeching employes (LOL).
So the options are A) Find a job between now and then and bail. Then being January. B) Wait it out, hope for severence and when it does happen concentrate on my hosting business, look at seriously expanding with the additional time and land some consulting jobs here and there along with web design.
Soo, if you anyone needs a useless *nix sys admin I am your man!

About the only thing that will suck is nopistons.net is on the work DSL so I will have to figure something out it the .net server, throw it on a DSL connection somewhere or something. Oh well, least of my worries!

Yeah, we might go down to 4 day work weeks until we get busier, no big deal, between side jobs and this guy who has a 73' Hatteras who is re-doing the whole boat, there is plenty of money I can be making to fill in, but Im going for the mortgage and cash income is a no-no. I have one of the largest volume Sea Ray dealers in the world offering me a job, but the bank looks to see that you have been working at least 2 years in your current job, needless to say thats the only thing making me nervous at this time, hope my paperwork gets processed fast so I can get this all over with.

No, forum is all paid for and self supportive with advertising and donations, plus we have a new advertiser coming on end of this month.
I will either find work or really hit the hosting biz hard and try to make a living at it.
