Professional Circut, race cars have jacks built into the body, so the pit crew doesnt have to wheel out a jack to get to the tires.

they are hydraulic loaded and are at 4 similar points on teh underbody and jsut raise the car up.....cuts down on mech-monkey error and time i suppose..

not so sure 'bout that. Seems both times were run ins with Wayne Gardner's Supra. The first one, he clocked the Supra (after it got spun around) whilst everyone made it around. And the second one, he kinda got shoved but if he let off at the braking zone, he wudda made it....after all he was getting lapped by a GT500 car.



Those Vemacs, S15s and MR2s just seem to run away from the poor FD(s).

yeah, the airjacks are the ****...but I've seen two kinds, internally operated(in car I guess, there is no external operation) and the air line operated ones, where they hook a high pressure hose to the car and it pops the jacks, then they pull it off and BAM the cars back on the track...cool ****.

the vemac is gonna be the car to watch. they are, as of right now, the most consistent car running in the JGTC. i like the mr-s cars as well...
