that looks fun. how much does it run to get something like that going? I used to do the electric ones but I'd like to build one of those supra or skyline RC cars..Cost please.

I can tell you from many years of R/C experience, that all that jazz does nothing substantial for power. The supercharger has been around for over a year now, and no one has had any realy HP gains, that could not be made by other mods for 1/2 the price. As far as the intercooler goes, yeah it looks cool, but has little effect on performance. I would imagine pressure drop with all that piping would be horrible.

Remember it's a .12-.27 2 stroke engine. you take a 6 pound car and put in a 2-3 hp engine that is plenty to get that thing to haul ass.

You can buy a complete "ready to run" nitro powered r/c car kit for around $300-350

Oh and from my other thread I think I have come up with the ultimate drift tires!!!! I'll post more when testing is complete!

Hmmm...that supercharger company is from Syracuse. I wonder if I could get a look at their stuff if I go to Walt's.

I am not sure what the setup costs as im not really into R/C cars. The site was forwarded to me by a friend and I thought it was cool. Even if the I/C and Supercharger dont do anything I still think its phat ass hell to show off.

Someone should take a electric motor dyno and fab it into a dyno for whp or watts or whatever.
