so my night started late cuz i got out of work at 8pm. so i decided to go home, workout, eat, etc. i finally left for mike's house at 10pm just an impuse thing since someone told me that doin a non sequential mod took about 30 mins. so i finally got to mikes house, and we were pretty prepared, we had the diagrams and the write ups printed out. we went through everything that anyone wrote one more time. started dismantelling most of everything on top of the engine. so..... the 30 mins turned to 1 hour and the 1 hour turned to 3 hours. after we plugged everything and checked twice, we took a 10 minute break and placed everything back together again. so it was time to start the car up... i turn the key and the car kept cranking but wouldnt catch!!!! being that it was already past 2am we couldnt find many people online except for Van to help us out, he suggested a few things that we already checked and some that we needed to check. so we went back down to the garage and took the elbow off and checked the connections for the map sensor and the spark plugs... they were all connected. tried to start again. and same **** happenned. took the elbow off again took the egi fuse off and checked if i had spark by checking a wire that i had that seemed bad..... no spark, checked the next wire and no spark either. i then checked the fuse box and low and behold!!! my main fuse was popped. interesting night and a learning experience





so its now 6am and im waiting for my brother to pick me up so i can get to work at 8am....... what a fun day thats gunna be. me=tired, thats why im babbling on

just wondering... how did the main fuse pop?

 

probably shorted something to the connection at the alternator, thats the most common reason it pops.
