yeah, the car is real sweet. Im gonna try anddoaconversionlike that when im done w/ my BMW 2002, im gonna drop a 13B in there too. Maybe Turbo? Still trying to figure out what to do to it

Eventually I'll put a 13BT in that 61 Midget. I'm thinking about putting a 20B in my convertible with the Garrett T-76 I have, but probably not until next year. B)

Agreed, A T-5 is a fairly weak piece of work- And if you add ANY kind of mods to the powerplant- expect missed gears and eventual loss of a couple of said gears. I've even seen reverse go out pretty easily-



And with all of those turbo mods that guy has done that thing will want to scream = * #; ...,,,, BZZZZZZZZZ (broken tranny)

yeah I would say upgrade to a Tremec or go with a Borg Warner T-56 and an aftermarket shifter world of difference.... even the T45 is better than the T5 though I dont like either... I got a T5 in my GT... am always afraid I am going to break it!
