New Rotary Engine

This site has generated some interest amongst the gyro guys. I hope it doesn't go south like so many others have. The idea of a charge-cooled rotor is pretty sweet.
It'd be freakin awesome to put one of the smaller ones in a go-kart or a Dominator Autogyro.
Any other cool ideas?

It didn't, because they haven't. They aren't Certified which means they can't be used in Certified aircraft, HOWEVER any engine can be used in an Experimental or Ultralight at the owner/pilots discretion. These engines are brand new and haven't really been rolling off the production line in any great quantity yet. And the Gyro guys in particular (because gyros have rather more stringent weight/power requirements) have been eyeballing them lately.
For someone whos used to aircraft engines, thats "kinda expensive" for that power range, but SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than any Certified engine.

Bit heavier, though.
People have used 12A's and 13B's with good results in fixed-wings, but all the Mazda designs are too heavy to get good performance out of a gyro or any really lightweight aircraft.
