I just thought this was a kinda good idea, and thought I would share it. (and I'm really bored)

I'm gonna set up a notebook and put all of the things that represent my future goals in it. some short term, some long term, some just whenever. It will be stuff like magazine clippings or advertisements, or pictures... anything. I'm gonna have 3 sections, one will be about me personally, my body, stuff like, I want to get a hot towel shave at a particular place I read about in LA, stuff like that. Section two will involve my lifestyle, cars I want, places I want to go, things I want to do. 3rd will be my surroundings. the kind of house I want, my future family, things I want to do with the future family.....

It will really be for me, if other people want to look at it, whatever, but I'm gonna make it for me. as I do the things, I'll remove them from their respective page (each page will be a collage of things) and give it its own page and write about the experience. I want to keep it for my whole life, and hopefully by the time I die, I will have all of the things crossed out, and quite a few notebooks full of my writings about each experience. I'll leave them to my family in my will or something.

I figure now, as I leave high school and start the part of my life that is really going to determine how I live, is the best time to start it. Over the years I know that my goals will change, but the notebook will always be there to remind me of times past and whats to come.

Sounds like a pretty powerful personal endeavor.

I have a journal that I write all of my angst down in, but as of late I have been keeping most of my feelings inside or just talking to my friends.

It's probably a healthy thing to be able to reflect on some experiences you've had, knowing that you've overcome them in some way.

I guess in some way I hope I can write songs from the ideas I've written down and maybe actually make music, but who knows.

Wow, gayest post I've ever read.

If you do it, I give it 4 weeks before it is in some corner of your room collecting dust.

You can plan ****, or you can just do it.
