Well, I'm broke, but I got 12 months no interest, I'll rob a liquor store or something LOL

Amy told me to buy a new laptop, so I went for broke (she'll prolly **** when she sees the bill LOL)

Here's the specs:

HP

P4 Mobile 2.8 gig

512 Mem

15.4 inch Widescreen 1280x800

40 gig HD

Dual 12 cell batteries

Gigalan

1 year accidental breakage warranty

64 meg vid card

and backpack made for the laptop.

CD-RW/DVD combo drive

I almost bought the 3.06 gig proc, then I checked the Intel website, that proc cuts the battery time about 18%, seems fucked but apparently they Hyperthreading or something really kills the battery. Anyhow, figured I would share, I'm pretty excited cause I haven't been able to afford anything computer related in over a year! It will be here next week, I'll have it time for all the fuggin hours I will have on the plane in the next 3 months. Gonna ebay that hunk of **** Sony.

This sucker is supposed to run CAD with ease, I asked the dude strait up LOL, I get 30 days to try.

I'll go write down the specs on the Sony, can't remember what it is.

Out the door, with the memory, extra battery, backpack and the whoops warranty was $1478, LOL undder $1,500 hoping that will make Amy happy. i got 12 months no interest, free shipping, free upgrade to 40 gig drive and an additional 10% off.

The Sony (Keep in mind my previous employer bought it for me, why I don't know LOL)

P3 600MHz

20 gig hd, 128 mem, wireless nic, modem, and NO BATTERY. 14.1 insch screen, the screen quality is actually decent, XP Pro, DVD.

It's a great laptop for checking email and what not, I have no idea what the battery costs, my guess from shopping for other brands would be $150 to $200, unless Sony is cheap which is highly unlikely LOL it's a model # PCG-540
