Record players are actually a much supieror medium of holding music, from a musical stand point. All this digital crap can only do high and low voltage. A record holds much more subtle nuances, crescendoes, etc. That's why I've got my record player and my slowly growing collection of jazz and classic rock.

btw dad's bought some really nice high end audio stuff off craigslist for almost nothing. cant think of the brand name, but they sound fantastic
