this car is going to be amazing, apparently a mylasian company proton took on the project of putting the elise in the US and it will be hitting our coastline next year. its gonna weigh close to 1900lbs and have a slightly tuned version of the celica GTS motor (more midrange and 190 peak hp). oh yea 6 speed and a low maybe even flat 12 on the 1/4. top speed of 140 i dont know if thats governed or not. this car is looking mad sexy and im tiptoeing on the idea of making the switch

mike ... remember a while ago when i first came to merrick with my mr2...the kid that came with me that stayed with me and neill at neills house



anyways, he has a g35 coupe now, hes selling it, and getting an elise in april....he has it payed for already

It is also going to be low $40s' for the price. That is alot of money to pay for a car that isnt much more useful than a go-cart.

only $40? hell im getting 2 of them if they're that cheap.

I dont see low 12's. More like low 13's. Seen the Sun International Elise? Its an Elise with an ITR driveline. Completely stock, it ran a 13.2, With some bolt ons, it ran a 12.9. And that car only weighed 1600 lbs.
