Hey guys, i am the (very) proud owner of a '87 RX-7 Turbo. Problem is, it needs a rebuild or an engine. I have found engines for round 500 bucks and such, a si can't afford a new one (1200.00). Problem is, i can't find any sweet body kits for it. I found one i rlly like but its for a '93 RX-7, any ideas where i can find one like it?

Heres the kit:

Welcome aboard, I would be very skeptical of any $500.00 engine. Are you talking like jspec or something?

I really don't know. My dad found it, he found a few of them. I was very skeptical but i know my dad wouldn't let me buy it less he rlly looked at it and trusted it ya know.

I was just looking at a 500+ HP turbo kit for it and i don't think putting that on a motor that only cost me 500 bucks is a good idea. Working at burger king and trying to hook up my car with insurance aint going to be easy. Thing is i know its faster then anything at my school and i wanna prove it lol.

Yea I would spend the turbo money on the motor instead of the turbo. Then you can add the turbo to the solid motor once you get more cash.

I personally think the GTC kit is ugly as ****. The GP kit is a million times better looking. However, if you need an engine and aren't sure if you can find a good one for a reasonable price, is it really time to be looking for body kits?
