Yesterday, while not really watching the news, I saw a short clip about a new kind of converter that operates at low temperature, so it doesn't have to warm up. Anyone else hear of this?

i read in motor trend that the rx-8 wouldnt get a turbo cuz it would make the exhaust temps to low. but if that new cat thing is true then we should look forward to an (fe) turbo rx-7
