The only reason VW has a bad reliability rating is because of the window regulator clips and the coil packs. Both of which are under warrany and have yet to fail me on either of my VW's. I have an '03 Jetta 1.8T and an '04 GTI 1.8T, both of which are awesome cars. 28 mpg combined (city/hwy), we got around 31 on the way to Florida in the Jetta this last March. Overall, very good cars.
Edit: Fiske-The R32 is not a GTI. It is a completely different car. 3.2L VR6, 4Motion, 6-speed. BTW Saab's - nice cars, you won't have any problems apart from the anonymous look (especially the Saabaru) and IMO they're too big to be FWD. Mark |
too tired to search posts if this has been covered sorry. vw gti, or r32 will cost well over 30k didnt he say 22?
