Cool

1991 Chevy Beretta GTU

3.1l v-6

5-speed

new tires

new enginge

new transmission

body in good shape

interior is decent, missing plastic bezel where radio was

white with factory spoiler painted with red checkerboards (really looks OK...)

some type of aftermarket rims powdercoated to match color of car

900$

(gonna take digi cam when i go, and post pics, it's not the most beautiful car I've ever seen, but it'll be cheap transport)

Gonna drive it tomorrow or Thursday...

then decide.....

Gotta be better than the Blazer, plus that leaves me with 2k$+

to spend on system or whatever.......

P.S. The problem with the Blazer was the Ignition Control Module, replaced the coil and still didn't get any spark, so I guess i get to take off the distributor, and check that tomorrow... BLEH....

If you're having problems with chevrolet.. why did you buy another one? you could've gotten an old nissan or toyota beater for the price and not have to worry about mechanical reliability.. I'm just trying to see things from your point of view..

re-read post... How many miles do those tranny and engines last for?

My friend has over 300 000 kilometers on his...and it runs...like ****. The thing has constant problems. Make my RX-7 and diesel combined a very reliable force to be reconed with, lol. Diesel has the same km's as his lumina...diesel runs absolutely flawlessly...and gets great gas mileage...hell, its just been broken in!

It's true! It's all true!!! I've been driving on a full tank of gas since saturday...averaging about an hour or so of driving a day.
