Anyhoo, the only discs I have seen that come close to those were on an offroad dune buggy type of thing and basically the theorey behind the shape was to prevent build up of dirt on the discs - I don't think this is an issue for most rx-7's though.

I think rotors shaped like that only show improvements in lightweight applications (motorcycles, light open wheel cars). The shape is to aid heat rejection while spinning. But the loss of swept area is more detrimental to heavier apps like street cars.

Like was already mentioned... show me lower lap times and I'll reconsider.
