Anyone here use Netflix?

Experiences?

$20/month is a little steep, considering the local Hollywood charges $1 for a 5 day rental, but Netflix has some rare DVD's that I've been looking for, so it may be a good deal.

$1.00 for 5 days? DAMN, fuggin $4.00 here.

UniqueTII 02-18-2004 04:23 PM

I guess I should be more specific. The Hollywood in Ames (my town) charges $3.99 for 5 days, but the one in Marshalltown (gf's town) charges a buck.

we have netflix....awesome stuff man...i ve seen so many movies since we had it..it filled in those nights of nothingness haha. u get to have up to three movies out at a time. they sned them in little packets that u put the dvd back in when your done and stick it in the mailbox. return address is already on it so no writing. simply order it off the internet, get it in like 3-4 days depending on availabilty, keep it for just about as long as u want but a 3 dvd max. send them back when your done..u should get it.you wont be let down. blockbuster, etc. are no comp

As long as their service is good, which you say it is, I'm going to go for it.

bart3lz 02-18-2004 04:49 PM

u'll have a heck of a collection hahaha...u could pretty much have their collection. u could make ur own company.. call it fonyflix...or webflix

but yea we havent had a problem yet and we've had it for like a year

$1, holy **** who can beat that?

I had it for a while, as long as you keep renting to take advantange

of the fee, its worth it. They come with a handy dandy return envelope

and everything. You can make a big list of what you want and as you

return and go thru them they ship automatically.

ED,

I have some netflix dvd's right here. I get them in 1-2 days after I order. Send them back the next day(sometimes the same day).

Doing it that way, you can get about 15-20 a month.

This site is your best "netflix" companion
