Well, yes. It is rather unconventional. But I don't doubt that with a good bit of time invested you could get a pretty decent looking paint job.

 

Jesus christ! "I rolled my car" what in the mother **** is this world coming too? That has to be a bullshit story, I mean really, why bother! Who in thier right mind would put that many hours into a paint job.

well, i would rather spend $50 on that paint job rather than a couple thousand on a regular one. what is it like 4K if your car is already prepped?

 

I guess if someone was bored out of thier mind and really loved to sand, but jesus what an incredible waste of time. Buy the materials and rent time in the booth at a community college, rent the tools and do it in your garage, anything would be better than spending that much time, that much effort to get a car painted.
