You and me both....This is gonna be the only child, SOOOO...If i can make it to 40, I AM SET!!!! But really, pretty happy about this, I'm young, and dumb at that, but better to get it done when i am young and not burnt out on life and i can run and play with him and do all the things i didn't do with my dad, and since he'll be an only child, i can buy him all the crap i never had (though he's DEFINITELY working for his first car..) Wish me luck people, I am about to go on a WILD 18 year ride...(it damn well better be 18 anyway..)

How'd it happen? No protection, you were drunk and decided then, the girl tricked you, or you wanted the child, REALLY REALLY WANTED THE KID?

Are you gonna marry her? Are you in love?????????????????????

Sorry for the interogation, but I'm thinking of becoming a father before 25 too.

You'd have to have sex with someone other than yourself.

Its more like an 18 year project. Its either easy or hard depending on how involved you want to be with your child. Easy is never being there to help out mom and just living your life like you never fathered a child. Hard is helping mom out giving her breaks from the baby and helping to raise it as it gets older. If you choose B be ready to give up a lot of the things you like to do.

Cool

ran out of birth control pills, was scheduled to get them the NEXT day, said what the hell, you been taking them for a year, gotta have some lasting effect, WRONG!, it wasn't totally unplanned as we had discussed MANY times that i wanted to have children young(er), but i meant 25 not 21 almost 22 :P We're engaged (were engaged be4 the pregnancy) been together 3 years, and I will marry her....Not gonna say this is gonna be easy, but the good FAR outweighs the bad, I am gonna be as involved as i can and still support them and keep them comfortable (we've lived together for almost 2 years), and when he gets older I think i am gonna switch trades (working 6-7 days a week does not give me a lot of time to be a father), i have a little background in computers and where i work now will pay for most of my collefe (at a community college) so i am gonna get educated and go from there...life is good! (just wish i coulda got MY FD or TII be4, but o well, i will get one, maybe that'll be his first car )

sorry so long :P
