If you are scared of driving in the snow, stay home.

Why would you not properly prepare you vehicle for winter? Would you walk 2 kms outside without a winter jacket, and gloves?

Why can't you spend the 5 minutes and properly remove the snow from your car/minivan/SUV before you headed out? That 12" x 12" square on your windsheild isn't going to help you when you need to change lanes, read street signs, and make left and rigth turns.

If you can't reach the roof of your vehicle to clear the ice and snow off of it so it doesn't come flying off and hit other cars on the highway, why the hell did you buy such a big vehicle?

If you know it is slippery and your bald all seasons on your minivan isn't so great at accelerating why do you still insit to make a left turn with 5 cars going 55 km/h north on britannia road when you know you can't get out of the intersection in time (I do not want to be stuck behind you when the other unfortunate driver infront of me runs into your automatic slidding rear door and nearly tips your f'ing minivan at 55 km/h.

Why don't you have your lights on? Don't you want to be seen to other drivers when the visability is poor?

Why do you dive into the right turn lane, or left turn lane or onramp/offramp when it is snowing so bad and braking distances have trippled? It's not like you haven't driven to work before and don't know you way.

i saw some bad drivers last night. WE got over 7 inches yesterday. I was at school, and it is a comuter school in the city and I was unable to leave school for 4 hours. It took me 40 min to get from the 3rd floor of a parking garage to the 1st. I was running low on gas so i just parked my car a waited. People just kept on crashing into each other and causing more problems. They made me 3 hours late for work. I hate snow.

Put 99% of people behind the wheel of a car, and they get aggressive, selfish, and inconsiderate. Naturally, I'm in the 1% of people who don't.

If it snowed like that here, and people were driving, the population would drop considerably. Any time it rains we have a bunch of wrecks, I couldn't imagine snow.

i always assumed places that got a lot of snow had drivers that were more apt to deal with the weather. It was the same way in Seattle, it didn't snow that much or that often, but when it did the accidents would shut down the freeway and everything else.

People just can't drive or realize that they have to slow down earlier in snow. 4wd only helps with control and accerleration in snow.
