Ok well depending on when this kit car is released it will probably determine if i sell my rx7's shell.

When in production the kit will cost below $20,000. It uses Corvette C5 control arms, spindles, brakes, and other small parts. It's built for a C5's motor but that can be changed. I plan on running the same setup im building for the rx7 right now, except for a smaller quicker spooling turbo for roadcourse action. Altho im considering a 20b with like a t04e or something

I have found a couple C5 vettes for udner $5k that have been salvaged due to flood damage, so that **** is great lol.

The company provides you with coilovers so that part of the suspension is done.

You just need a Porsche trans-axle, which they will fab an adapter for whatever motor you choose to use. That is pricey but, meh.

Anyway midengined, udner 40k when finished.... that's the hot ****. Ive been in talks with the company, factory five racing, for quite sometime since they unveiled the prototype GTM and now it's close to full production just some more tweaks and perfections going on. It's a great alternative to say...an Ultima GTR.

If this kit is out before i finish putting everything in the rx7, it is definitely bye bye rx7.

so.... rob, ready to paint a supercar?

Actually most of their customers have finished Cobra replicas in under 2 years......and those have tons mroe work then this thing. This is a 5 piece body i believe they said. I'm figuring two years, especially since i can work on it at the shop i work at during all my free time and on sundays.
