$500? What did you do? Beat him over the head with a pipe and then leave 5 bills out of pity for his hospital visit?

That thing is worth at least $1500 running.
1500 for a 89 b2200?

maybe if you find the right sucker.

I had the same truck, 266,000 miles on original engine, I had to scrap it cuz the frame rusted so bad, it broke in 1/2!!!!

You could do what I did. I put on a weber carb, header and exhaust, and it made some good power. That is a good engine even though it is really a mitsubishi engine!
What is it stock? It looks like a carb in the pics, or maybe tbi.

Sold one about a year ago for $1000, but it was beat to hell and had a ton more miles.

it's a carb, a POS nikki carb. That "box" on the air cleaner with the 3 big hoses coming off of it is for the emissions system!!! What a disaster. That poor truck has as many vacuum lines as the FD!!!. Thats why I ripeed everything off and got a weber!

I got my truck for $500, then it died. Got my 4x4 s-10 blazer for $800 Purrs like a kitten

Looks like a single cab version of my winter toy.Minus the fact I paid $300 for mine and when the motor finally craps out I will go 13b carbed. Lose the canopy man mine is coming off when the snow melts and is going to the garbage dump along with the stocker rear bumper so I can run dual exhausts off it. As soon as the snow is gone out comes my summer DD.My 83 13B weber fed NA while the Turbo is my weekend cruiser.
