so what color should I paint it? I dont want it black, was thinking either green or dark red with a tan top

its got the turbo 400, if guys can put them behind race cars im sure its fine for this, I was hoping for a 3 speed but it seems like the auto is actually better for the beach since the thing wont stop when you shift.



besides- he gave me a spare rebuilt transmission!



I actually have a cast iron 3 speed and transfer case if I ever decide to swap it out.

Turbo 400 is a tough-ass tranny. I have one behind the SBC in my duallie.

the tach is going bye-bye, will put a original smaller tach back in the dash- its not a "monster" tach anyhow, just a regular sized one.



I dont want to keep it black, I want to make it a different color, I had seen a dark green one and I loved the color, but I also like a dark red- almost like a maroon.
