I've always really liked falcons, but seeing this one raced out w/ the race stripes and everything is just so omgwtfbbq#%@#@#$

those are badass cars.
|
Yeah, that's a nice one.
For me, the Falcon's image will always be influenced by the fact that my Dad had one when I was little. It was a '63 wagon with a 170 c.i.d. Special and three-on-the-tree. From that point of reference, it is hard for me to consider the Falcon a muscle car. |
my dads muscle car was a 69 roadrunner, metal flake blue w/ 383.
roadrunners and R/T's and those big body mopars are cool, but theyre so fawrking huge. |
falcons and novas(nova IIs i think were the ones) are awesome. ohh and corvairs...
|
427 Cobras.

The Nova name started as an upmarket trim level on those cars in '65 or '66. I'm working on restoring a '66, but it's going slow. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png I like Corvairs, but my wife doesn't, hence we have no Corvair. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png |
i like all those, particularly the 62-63 falcons...

427 Cobras. in theory, but if you're doing more than hopping down to the porn store they suck unbelievably. they turn similar times to a spec miata, on the racetrack, and the miata is only down like 300hp.... and they weigh about the same... |
Yeah ladder frames have been out of date since they stopped using them on horse & carriages - here's one that actually uses technolodgy less than a century old: http://www.gdcars.com/gd427/gd427.htm

Probably cause it's better!

Interesting, but I figure it costs a bit more than a factory five. we had the rx8 at sears point, and with 2 people in the 8, factory 5 on slicks, um they are dead even going from turn 11 all the way to turn 1. the 5 is faster in the turns, but its on slicks, and its 1000lbs less than the 8..... |
