So naturally I had to say something. Here's the deal, they have a sign that they change every day that says "If your name is ..... then you get a free tall beverage, id required" I've been keeping an eye on the names and they are always white names like today it was Neil and Nancy, so I say you know your contest is pretty racist, I never see names Like Paco or Jesus, your names are always clearly white people's names, now I'm not suggesting you put Mos Def on your board, but I'm pretty sure Jose is more common worldwide then Bob.



They didn't know what to say, she just chuckled and said she hadn't thought about that. I should have asked them if they spit in black people's coffee to really get them flustered, but I'll save that for next time.

 

If I worked there I'd really be tempted to use add names. Shequita, Ichabod, Agnes, Theodore, etc.

 

say your name is whatever you want, if you have no ID they can't argue.

haha I know a few areas up here where no one would be able to give ID anyway. But Starbucks doesn't go there

 

Just go by there early and find out what the name of the day is, then go downtown and find Guido and let him make you up a phony ID with the name of the day on it. Tell him there's half a latte in it for him. It's a sure thing.
