My god
******* heater busted in the house its 40 damn degrees in here. I bought a space heater on the way home from work last night, went to walgreens(only place open and on the way). cost $50 and cant even warm a 9x9 space. I will say its nice in here for sleeping but **** anything else.
Aren't you in FL somewhere?
Low is 17F here tonight, not looking forward to waking up every few hours to keep the fire going.
This morning I started up the Volvo (my mother-in-law's car I'm borrowing), went over a small bump in our yard, and the dash piece by the windshield split right down the middle, with a nice "pop" sound.

Our wood stove heats the house plenty (sometimes too much), I just need to hire some midget to shove wood in every now and then (that's what she said?).
A copper shield in the rear keeps the heat off of nearby electronics, and our high living room ceiling funnels the hot air to the bedrooms above. Works quite nicely!
