My Car And Truck Need Gas
#24
Fuel prices seem to fluctuate upward around high travel times throughout the year; thanksgiving, christmas, new years, spring break, but the recent cost hikes of late are really out of comtrol in my opinion as well.

my Ford takes 29 gallons and gets about 11mpg, I used to drive it every few days, now I only drive it when I need it because the gas is so crazy
even my Mazda 6 only gets about 20 on a good day, which sadly enough is what my 17 year old vert gets.
the trusty Lexus gets a solid 24, I drive that one all the time now

The "Yearly Average Adjusted for Inflation" is a cool column I was searching Google.com to get. It seems that the 1973 Crisis happend just around the price/amount we're approaching, I think I recall reading $120/barrel oil prices.
Interesting how it reached "2.49" (adjusted) before settling down to "1.33" in 1981. I hope the same will happen as we reach $3-4 here in America.
Every article I read is somewhat unclear about how/what brought it back down after the crisis, anyone care to explain in short?
