So as some of you know Im leaving on a somewhat 'walk about / adventure' across the globe for no less than 6 months. This means I'm selling my rx7, I put it up on a few forums, craigs list and auto trader... I will say one thing, after doing all this. I appreciate everyone sending me PMs and emails telling me how they like the car, I really do, but damn... 2nd gen owners are the cheapest people ever. lol... its like dealing with a bunch of high school kids that want to low ball you on everything.



Anyways, I have a guy coming by in a bit that might be picking it up, Im sad to see it go ... and I will no longer be a member of the rotary world. The next car I'm looking to pick up is the pontiac solstice gxp (I-4 turbo) in 07 or 08. Then again, who knows, Im in love with rotaries....



Anyways, I wanted to say thank you to everyone on the forum ... for the many years I've been involved here. Thank you to all the engine builders, thank you to all the fabricators, thank you to scott, and thank you to everyone else. Ive learned a ton from you guys over the years and I couldnt have done it without your help.

I wont be heading that deep into africa... but I'll probably just be in the standard morocco and egypt.



As for the rx8, I have yet to drive one ... and I saw this one on the road the other day all done up with the full mazdaspeed kit and some other classy exterior goodies. It looked very nice ... I just wish they had more speed to them

 

morocco is well worth spending some time in from what i have heard.

 

I was there 2 years ago for a couple days ... I thought it was ... interesting...

you cant sell RX7s to forum guys, I always had good luck in the local newspaper, last time I got over 20 calls
