I thought hard about trying to find a White TII....but I did not want to come off as Takahashi Ryosuke or some ****....the White Comet of Akagi. Do you have a REDSUNS sticker on it yet?

You'll need to hire 9BASE3 as a bouncer.

Hopefully, everything will work out for the best and I can afford to build a better FD than the one I currently own.
Yea, being the one you currently own is so SLOW and all...i mean SINGLE turbo? T78? You ditched 2 turbo's for one?!

Thats sick though, T78 would be the height of pushin an FD for me for a long time coming....would never consider that to be only the beginning.... Rock on!

Your shop idea rox! Too bad its not in the NY/NJ area...I get sick of shops that are all about ET's...and plan on modding the future FD towards handling, and speed IN the turns and not just straight...

I won't build to go much faster than this one is...but I will get to enhance the body some more, new wheels, better suspension, probably change it up some too....no need to do another T78. I like the engine bay...but I kind of wish I would have left some of the creature comforts, like PS, AC, ABS, etc...but I built what I wanted and I liked it. I will build another one as well. My next pair of cars to sit next to my TII will be a White WRX and a Silver FD...I may go Black again on the FD, not sure yet.

Got a pic of a white WRX? I'd like to see one in white (never have...)

Sounds like a cool plan! I might be getting a new job (A SERIOUS one) and contemplated what I'd buy to be the DD besides the up-coming FD....and I think WRX is an awesome candidate...AWD for the NY-Winters and some turbo fun, and sedan seating with decent MPG.

I like how rare the white FD's are...and think they look cool too .

You took out your power steering? Is that a hard project? I LOVE the feel of the wheel on my MKI MR2 (no PS)

We are opening up a Sushi Bar with a garage.....not quite a full blown shop, but more of a backdoor shop, no showroom or any of that, just working on cars.....turbo installs, fuel systems, motor swaps, etc....not a fix it shop, but an upgrade shop. We will be focusing mostly on handling/racing and building fun street cars as opposed to every dime a dozen drag car shop with the fastest import/domestic in the area.

The Sushi Bar will be the main focus of the shop....but it will be kind of mafia...like those stereotypical Italian resteraunts owned by the mob. But we feel it will create a great atmosphere and will be something a bit different than your everyday places....and our hours of operation will also be much different. No 9-5 type shop....more of a 3pm-12am type of hours in a downtown district.

Yeah....the TII is clean, I was glad it was, I have wanted a Black S5 TII for a while and I found this car. One owner local car...did not have to travel to get it. I was pretty stoked and the price kicked *** I thought.
Do you have any restruant experiance?? If not make sure to hire someone with a good background in running one. The biggest reason restruants go belly up is die to lack of experience on the onwers part on how to run the place financially.

That is the coolest idea I have ever heard. I wish you all the luck in the world!!!

I have always wanted to open a speed shop. I had the same idea as you though late hours. Open at like 12 for the lunch crowd and close at midnight.

Have import nights at the shop in the parking lot this way its a valid business and the cops cannot chase anyone away. I might do it in the next year. I have a couple of financial goals I have to achieve and I am there.

I am jelous of you. Good luck again. That is so cool!!

No, PS was simple to eliminate....I just bought the Power Steering Loop from Crooked Willow (I would build one now that I see how they made it) and I just removed the the pump, lines, and hoses. Pretty easy and I agree....I like the way it feels, much tighter and I feel like I have more control.

I am not a White FD fan....but there are some sick White WRX's.

Having your own speed shop would be very cool. Unfortunately I could never pull something like that off, at least in Iowa. It would constantly be pimple faced high school kids coming in looking for fart cans for the civics and neons and I wouldn't really make much of a living off them.

I like the SUSHI BAR/SHOP idea, but I don't think it will fly in South Carolina.
