The car is "retro." The stock rims are "ugly."

Nah, I don't see any rust, and it won't drag bottom over every speed bump it goes over.

Nope just a regular -- hard to spend another 10K on GT -- when it's just a daily driver for me -- not to mention what that would do to gas mileage -- and well then your in another price range so then I might as well have gotten a loaded RX8 for that price...

makes sense. why i chose the honda for my commute.

can't believe a gt is that much more. back in 94/95, i remember the price difference only being maybe 5k.

With the exception of the cobra r rims I don't any of the latemodel mustang rims are worth a ****, I think they both look worse in pics then in person, but yea the stockers suck.

I was going to lower it, but i think with the 18's I am going to leave it, with the 16's it looked a bit like a 4x4, but again keep in mind it's a DD and it rides very nice, i would much rather take a 500 mile trip in the mustang then any of our other rigs.

Funny you guys say not to, yet any other sports car "Needs" it with aftermarket rims. That gap looks worse with aftermarket rims for the same reasons others do.

Unless, of course, the rim replacement is the same size and warrants the same tires/sidewall...then its a bit less "odd", but either case, sitting so "Sporty" on rims that seemingly look thinner and aftermarket...I'd say that fender-to-tire gap is starting to look "4x4"ish and in my honest Elitist opinion...bad.
