Musings about the "Liberal Press"
#1
So, lately I am amazed at the absolutely depressing tone of economic news lately. We know it's bad, but the press is presenting the news with a giant helping of gloom and doom, with a tad of dark foreboding sprinkled in. What do you want to bet that right after the election, which will be an Obama landslide by the way, the tone takes a 180 degree turn to the positive and we start hearing that "the worst is over" and "there's a light at the end of the tunnel."?

I don't buy the whole "liberal" media thing, i think the media is part of the whole conspiracy, they aren't bias to one side or the other, they are merely a cog in the effort to deceive the majority. that is why there may be one pro left and one pro right, but if you notice they all pretty have the same goal in mind, keep the sheeple in line, keep them from getting wind of the truth.

Seriously? I mean I know there are a few conservative talk-show hosts, and one or two conservative newspapers, but virtually all the mainstream newspeople range from moderately to screamingly liberal, IMO.
And I'm probably as likely to vote for Obama as I am for McCain, so it's not that I'm conservative.
And I'm not the only one who thinks its true: http://www.mediaresearch.org/biasbasics/biasbasics1.asp

Whatever. Let's just see if the tone of the news changes after Obama's election to office.

so fox is liberal? as far as newspaper, who ******* reads a newspaper? Mainstream media is like anything else corporately ran and they look out for what is best for big business, they will be behind whomever gets elected.

Well, no. Fox news is not particularly liberal.
Regarding the others, well, don't take my word for it: http://newsroom.ucla.edu/portal/ucla/Media...-UCLA-6664.aspx

I guess it just disappoints me that people are hung up on neo con and liberal when the two are more then happy to work together when it comes to ******* us. All media outlets are going to sell you on their BEST INTERESTS, no matter whom that turns out to be.

tom brokaw was on the daily show the other night, i think wednesday? and it was fascinating to hear him answer questions, particularly about bushy type stuff, he just believes what you tell him.
so scott i think for the most part the media is sheeple too.

They are merely a COG in the conspiracy machine, what you see is not as it appears. They would prefer we have the convo about how the media is liberal or con than the convo about the fact that they are criminals working against us.
