How much do they pay for those things anyway? They could just buy meal replacement powders or bars from EAS, TwinLab, or somebody like that that would probably be cheaper and better for you.

Yeah, I hate em' 2. Once you've eaten them for so many days, they sorta' "cork" U up for a while. Usually the jalapeno cheese will take care of that, though. The other problem is that they have no iron. I was getting frequent nose bleeds when I had to eat them. Oh yeah, never chew the gum! And always make MRE bombs.

lol i am actually chewing the gum! but yeah i know what you mean they have to grow on you especially if you have to eat them or starve. they only cost us 3.25 each out here if you dont have a meal card. I guess it is not bad for the price you get alot for that but it doesnt taste too good. All the food places on base are closed so everyone has to wait till saturday to eat anything descent.

Are they still in plastic only? Or are they wrapped in aluminum impregnated plastic? It's been a while since I had one. Heh, the gum.

Aww man.. I dont think my colon's going to be the same after eating that crap for 2 months strait.. then we had to eat T rations for the last 3 months. Yesterday they finally opened up the Chow Hall. Had lobster and steak last night.

T-rations are pretty much pre cooked food that the cooks heat up and give us. Not much better than MRE's.. cant wait to see whats for dinner tonight.. shoudl be something good.
