Anyone tried any of these? They come recommended, before I drop 2 to 3k on a setup I'd like to know if it's edible.

Mmmm I want a years supply of tasty mountain house gourmet food! I wonder who did the testing on year 30? So just out of curiousity, why do you want a years supply of frozen dinners? Long boat trip in the making?

I keep forgetting you're prepared for end of times. I grew up hunting and growing gardens and after living in a sleeping bag along the mexican border for a year I think I'll be fine without stockpiles of frozen dinners when the world ends. And if not I have my capsule of cyanide handy.

Good deal, however that still doesn't answer my question as to whether or not the food is good LOL

I doubt they are cheap though, not to mention our dollar is poop to the cad so that would make it more expensive. Also, the fact that they are able to feed the 17 guys currently active in the canadian military well is of little comfort to me Although with the new leadership up there they prolly have a giant standing army building in canada.
